How to Add Jeanette as a Cloudflare Team Member

Give Jeanette access to manage your Cloudflare account in about 3 minutes.

Estimated time: 3 minutes

Why you're doing this

If Jeanette is helping you build, update, or deploy something that lives on your own Cloudflare account (your website, a custom tool, an automation), she needs a way in that doesn't involve you handing over your password.

Adding her as a member of your Cloudflare account does that. She gets her own login, tied to her own email, so she can do the work directly. You stay the account owner the whole time, and you can remove her access in one click whenever you want.

Good to know. This is the standard way businesses bring in outside help on Cloudflare. It's safe, it's easy to undo, and it doesn't cost anything extra on your plan.

Step 1, Open Members

  1. Go to dash.cloudflare.com and sign in.
  2. In the left sidebar, click Manage Account, then click Members.

Tip. You can jump straight there with this link: dash.cloudflare.com/?to=/:account/members. Cloudflare will ask you to log in first if you aren't already, then drop you right on the Members page.

Step 2, Click Invite

In the top-right corner of the Members page, click the blue Invite button.

Step 3, Enter her email

Type in Jeanette@jeanettestein.com. That's the email Cloudflare will use to send the invite.

Step 4, Choose a role

Cloudflare will ask what role to give her. Choose Administrator.

Good to know. Administrator gives full access to Workers, DNS, and the rest of what's needed to build and deploy, but it doesn't hand over billing or the ability to remove you from your own account. That stays with you as the owner. You don't need to select Super Administrator, that role is only for a second account owner.

Step 5, Send the invite

Click Invite Member. That's it on your end.

Verify it worked

Jeanette will get an email from Cloudflare with a link to accept. Once she does (usually within a few minutes), she'll have access to work directly in your account. You don't need to do anything else.

You can confirm she was added by looking at the Members list. Her email will show up with a Pending status until she accepts, and then it switches to Accepted.

If something goes wrong. Double-check the email is exactly Jeanette@jeanettestein.com, no typos. If she still hasn't received it after checking, just email Jeanette and she'll help sort it out.

How to remove access (anytime)

If you ever want to remove Jeanette's access (after the project is done, or for any other reason), it's a one-click undo:

  1. Go back to the same Manage Account → Members page.
  2. Find her email in the list.
  3. Click the Remove button next to her name.
  4. Confirm.

Done. She no longer has access. Nothing else changes about your account.
